Federal Govt Planning Commission December Jobs 2023

The Planning Commission is currently seeking qualified individuals to fill various positions for the “Integrated Energy Planning (IEP) for Sustainable Development” project. The available roles include IEP Director, Senior Policy Analyst, Forecasting Specialist, and Data Analyst, and they are open to both male and female applicants.

The position of IEP Director is a PPS-10 Grade post, requiring candidates to hold a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in engineering science or energy-related disciplines from an accredited institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is also necessary, and candidates must not exceed 62 years of age. This position is offered on a one-year contract basis.

The Senior Policy Analyst role, also a PPS-10 Grade post, demands candidates with a Master’s degree in public policy, energy policy, energy planning, business administration, economics, or related disciplines from an accredited institution recognized by the HEC. Similarly, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, with a maximum age limit of 50 years. This position is on a one-year contract.

For the Forecasting Specialist position (PPS-10 Grade), candidates should possess a Master’s degree in computer science, economics, or related disciplines from an accredited institution recognized by the HEC, along with at least 10 years of relevant experience. The maximum age for applicants is 45 years, and the position is on a one-year contract.

The Data Analyst role, a PPS-06 Grade post, requires candidates to have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Sciences, or Statistics from an accredited institution recognized by the HEC. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary, and candidates should not exceed 35 years of age. This position is on a one-year contract basis.

The Planning Commission, part of the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Reforms in the Pakistan government, is responsible for conducting research and formulating policies to enhance the country’s economy and public infrastructure. It collaborates with the Ministry of Finance in these endeavors.
