The Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Protection is seeking applications from Pakistani Nationals for various positions in the “WB-PSDP Project – Strengthening Technical Capacities of Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (STC-MoCC&EC).” These positions include Team Leader Communication & Media, Team Leader – Projects Support, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist, Team Environmental & Climate Change, Project Development Specialist, Corban Markets Specialist, Team Leader-Green Finance, Green Finance Specialist, Policy Development Expert, Admin & Finance (A&F) Specialist, Project Management & Reporting Officer, IT Assistant, Officer Helper, Chowkidar, and Janitorial roles. These opportunities are open to both males and females and are on a contract basis for a one-year period.

Applicants for positions such as Team Leader Communication & Media, Team Leader – Projects Support, Team Environmental & Climate Change, Project Development Specialist, Corban Markets Specialist, Team Leader-Green Finance, Green Finance Specialist, Policy Development Expert, and Project Management & Reporting Officer should possess a Master’s degree in relevant disciplines from an accredited institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, along with 6-15 years of relevant experience.

For Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist, Admin & Finance (A&F) Specialist, and IT Assistant positions, candidates should have 16 years of education in relevant disciplines from an accredited institution recognized by HEC, along with 3-6 years of relevant experience. The qualifications for Officer Helper, Chowkidar, and Janitorial positions include Primary/Middle education with necessary skills.

The Ministry of Climate Change, also known as MoCC, plays a crucial role in addressing climate change issues in Pakistan. Led by Senator Sherry Rehman, who serves as the Federal Minister, MoCC is a significant government department.
