Sindh Education Department Delays Class 4 and 5 Annual Exams Due to Ramadan

The boss in charge of schools in Karachi Division made a new plan for the big tests for kids in fourth and fifth grade.

In a note just sent out, the boss told kids that the big tests, which were going to happen before Ramadan, will now happen later.

The new plan says the big tests for kids in fourth and fifth grade will start on April 18, after Ramadan.

The idea behind the new plan is to give kids a break during Ramadan so they can study more for their tests.

Also, there’s other news. The big bosses of schools in Karachi decided to give some extra marks to students in pre-engineering, pre-medical, and general science part I.

This decision came after Sindh’s temporary Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar said so. The temporary CM agreed with a group that looked into why students in part I of school got low marks this year.

“It’s been decided that every student will get 15 extra marks in Math, 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Statistics each, and six in Zoology and Botany each,” he said.
